Growing up in an artistic family, art and design have always been an important part of my life. I don’t think it’s was just all the musea I had to visit as a child, for sure the feeling for design is something you’re born with. In high school I was often found drawing or painting in the art class during breaks. Despite my passion for art and design I decided to study real estate in Holland and graduated in Shanghai 4 years later. The architecture classes were my favourite by far and my love for this professional field started there. Since then I’ve been working on furnishing a lot of rental projects in Holland. When I start building my own house I decided to increase my knowledge and skills and therefor I did an advanced course in interior design&styling. In 2017 Ibiza became my new home, where I graduated for my BA Psychology. The island is my inspiration till today. Living on this beautiful island has had a big impact on my design style; the colours and materials I use.

I believe in a contemporary and good interior base made out of natural materials. I’m inspired by nature and cultures, travelling is therefor my passion. The specific surrounding of a place gives me automatically the inspiration which I combine with the wishes of my clients. An interior needs to have an unique character; everyone is different. Therefor I strongly believe in the importance of knowing the people who I’m designing for. An interior is a really personal thing and can make the difference between the feeling of ‘a house’ or ‘a home’. My third degree in psychology gives me the skills to understand the wishes of my clients very well. Designing and creating an interior is all about trust; People trust me with their home and I find that a really special responsibility. My work is all about people and their everyday lives. 

 

I think that our changing world makes a true home one most important factors nowadays. We all go back to the essence of what makes us feel secure in life. It’s my pleasure to be a part of that!
